"My eternal gratitude goes out to Dr. Larry Long and his wonderful staff at Country Club Dental in West Des Moines, Iowa for all that they were able to do for me while I was in Des Moines, Iowa, visiting, for about a 3-month period during the summer of 2009. After a brief and thorough dental exam, Dr. Long was very compassionate and honest about my situation. Before he gave me his opinion and analysis of my situation, he asked me what my opinion was, which I felt was very thoughtful. We then agreed that I had a lot of work to do, and he proceeded to put together a work-up of what all would be involved. Then, his financial assistant put a dollar figure on what it would all cost, and helped me figure out how I could finance it through CareCredit, interest-free for two years. She then assisted me in applying on-line to CareCredit, and I got approved right there and then. This was very, very helpful, because it allowed me to readily see how I could afford to have all the work done that was necessary. As a matter of fact, we started the work that day with an extraction. Over a period of two to three months, I was able to schedule and have done all the work necessary, which included extractions, root canals, crowns and deep periodontal cleaning. My dental situation had been looming over me for a few years like the Sword of Damocles, and Dr. Long and his staff took it away and "gave me my life back," as far as my dental health was concerned. They were dental angels sent to my rescue, and I am so grateful I had the time to have all this work done while I was in Des Moines. There has been a noticeable improvement in my overall health since having all this dental work done. And as an additional note, everyone at Country Club Dental had an "up" spirit, a great attitude and a wonderful sense of humor. I felt like we were "family" by the time all my work was done. I would seriously consider coordinating any future required dental work with a trip back to Des Moines, from Montana, based on the way I was treated at Country Club Dental."
